Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct sets expectations for behavior on our platform. It is intended to help maintain a respectful community focused on marriage-minded matchmaking.

Our community is designed for Muslim users seeking marriage, and our standards are informed by Islamic values, including respect (akhlaq), honesty, modesty, and consent.

This Code of Conduct is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. We may interpret and enforce these standards in our discretion.

The platform is not therapy or a mental health care service.

2. Respectful Conduct

You must treat others with respect and good faith. Do not:

Harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, or abuse others.
Discriminate or use hateful or degrading language.
Send unwanted sexual content or solicit explicit content.
Contact someone after they ask you to stop or after they block you.

3. Authenticity and Safety

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and your conduct. Do not:

Impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or use deceptive photos or information.
Create multiple accounts or attempt to evade enforcement actions.
Attempt to access data that is not yours or bypass platform restrictions.
Use automated tools (bots/scrapers) without permission.

We do not guarantee the identity of users or the accuracy of user-provided information. Use good judgment, especially for offline interactions.

4. Content Standards

Content you post or share must be appropriate and lawful. Do not:

Post nudity, sexually explicit content, or pornographic material.
Post violent, graphic, or illegal content, or promote illegal activities.
Post content that infringes someone else's rights.

We may restrict or remove content that we believe is inconsistent with the purpose of the platform, including content that is not modest or that is otherwise inappropriate for a marriage-minded Muslim community.

5. Privacy and Consent

Respect privacy and consent. Do not:

Share someone else's photos, messages, or personal information outside the platform without permission.
Attempt to contact users off-platform without their consent.
Screenshot/record private communications where prohibited by law or without permission.

6. No Solicitation, Spam, or Scams

This platform is for matchmaking. Do not:

Promote products/services, recruit for jobs/MLMs, or solicit donations.
Request money, gifts, or financial details.
Send spam, mass messages, or repetitive outreach.
Direct users to external sites for non-essential reasons.

7. Reporting and Emergencies

If you see behavior that may violate these standards, you can report it by emailing support@zoojly.com.

We may investigate reports and take action, including account restriction or termination, at our discretion. We may also preserve or share information as needed to comply with law, enforce our policies, or protect users.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger or there is a credible threat, contact local emergency services.

8. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent termination. We may take action for on-platform or off-platform conduct that affects the safety or integrity of our community.

We are not obligated to monitor content, communications, or behavior, and we do not guarantee that enforcement will occur in all cases.

9. Changes

We may update this Code of Conduct from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
